Anne-Marie Lemelin

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Anne-Marie was born and raised in the Niagara Region. Her veterinary career began in high school, where she worked as a Veterinary Assistant at a local small animal hospital. Loving what she was doing, she chose to continue her post-secondary education at Northern College, and graduated with honours from their accredited Veterinary Technician Program. Since graduating in 2004, she has worked at various small animal clinics within the Niagara Region and GTA; however, she found a passion in emergency medicine, and decided to spend the majority of her career in veterinary emergency facilities. Anne-Marie has also spent some time volunteering with various rescue groups, including a Catch-Neuter-Vaccinate-Release program of stray animals in Sri Lanka with the Tsunami Animal-People Alliance. She continues to volunteer with the Grey-Bruce Aboriginal Qimmiq Team, dedicated to providing humane population control and veterinary care to dogs in remote Northern Ontario communities.
Anne-Marie joined our team in February of 2017. With her experience, and passion for animal welfare, she is committed to providing our clients with the best possible nursing care for their furry family members.
In her spare time, Anne-Marie enjoys playing volleyball, reading, and spending quality time with her husband Chris, her daughter Madeleine, her cat Bartholomeow, her dog King, and her snail Turbo.
